SLIPKNOT Frontman To Guest On Tonight's 'Loveline'

August 26, 2008

SLIPKNOT/STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor will be the featured guest on the nationally syndicated "Loveline" radio show tonight (Tueday, August 26) with hosts Stryker and Dr. Drew Pinsky. Check with your local radio station for air times. You can stream the program live at www.kroq.com.

SLIPKNOT's new album, "All Hope Is Gone", is being released today (August 26) via Roadrunner Records. The follow-up to 2004's "Vol. 3: (The Subliminal Verses)" was recorded at Sound Farm Studios in the band's home state of Iowa with producer Dave Fortman (EVANESCENCE, SIMPLE PLAN, MUDVAYNE).

SLIPKNOT was forced to cancel several European festival appearances as well as performances for MTV Europe and Virgin TV after drummer Joey Jordison broke his ankle. According to a statement issued by the band, doctors have advised Jordison to stay off the ankle for four to six weeks to prevent "further injury or permanent and more serious damage." SLIPKNOT expressed its "huge regret and disappointment," adding, "Canceling shows is never an easy decision and we apologize to all our fans, friends and family for not being there to throw down with you. We will be back in Europe this November and can't wait to see you all then."
